The problem

SEO consultants spend 8 to 14 hours per week on repetitive tasks. Time spent on execution eats into strategy time.

  • Manual GSC audits, CSV exports, spreadsheet sorting
  • Content briefs by hand, one by one
  • SEO writing without a GEO layer
  • Copy-paste client reports
  • CWV audit in PageSpeed, screenshots, notes in a doc
  • Zero GEO strategy (AI citations, LLM optimization)

Frequently asked questions

What exactly is The SEO Engine?
It is an AI Business OS for SEO consultants and agencies. A local system installed on your machine, based on Claude Code, connected to 5 MCPs (DataForSEO, GSC, Chrome DevTools, WordPress, Filesystem). It executes 69 SEO and GEO commands via a terminal. You type a command, it does the work.
How is it different from SEMrush or Ahrefs?
SEMrush and Ahrefs are research tools. You search, read, decide, then execute. The SEO Engine is an execution system. It analyzes, decides and produces. It uses DataForSEO as a data source (equivalent to SEMrush/Ahrefs API) but goes much further: writing, publishing, technical audit, GEO scoring.
What is GEO?
GEO = Generative Engine Optimization. It is optimization for AI engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini). LLMs cite certain sources in their responses. GEO aims to get your content cited. The SEO Engine includes a GEO score /70 on 7 criteria for every piece of content produced or audited.
Is my client data secure?
Yes. The SEO Engine runs 100% locally on your machine. No client data passes through Node6 servers. API calls (Claude, DataForSEO, GSC) go directly from your machine with your own keys. No tracking, no telemetry.
Does it work with any WordPress?
Yes, as long as the site has the WordPress REST API enabled (it is by default). The WordPress MCP works with posts, pages, and custom post types. Plugins like Yoast SEO and Directorist are natively supported.
Do I need to be a developer?
No. You type natural language commands in a terminal. No code to write. The 1h onboarding covers everything you need to know. If you can use a basic terminal (cd, ls), you are operational.
How long to become operational?
1h onboarding + 2-3h practice on a real client. Typically, consultants are autonomous in half a day. The most-used commands become reflexes within a week.
How much does the Claude API and DataForSEO cost?
Claude API: between 5 and 15 EUR per day depending on usage intensity. The Claude Max plan is recommended for the batch pipeline. DataForSEO: from 50 EUR/month depending on query volume. These costs are paid directly to the providers, not to Node6.
Does it replace my existing tools?
For most tasks, yes. DataForSEO covers SEMrush/Ahrefs features for keyword research, SERP, backlinks. GSC MCP replaces manual exports. Chrome DevTools replaces PageSpeed Insights. You can keep your tools in parallel, but many consultants reduce their subscriptions after adoption.
How does the batch pipeline work?
The batch pipeline executes a sequence of commands without intervention. Example: you launch a keyword to publish pipeline - it researches keywords, analyzes the SERP, writes the article with GEO layer, validates the score, and publishes as a WordPress draft. All running headless while you do something else.
What is --discover?
It is a command that scans your GSC data, identifies quick wins (pages close to top 3, high-potential keywords, pages losing traffic), and automatically generates optimization briefs. It is the recommended starting point for each new client.
How does multi-consultant work?
With the Agency plan, each consultant has their own local installation. Client data is centralized in Supabase (session history, scores, positions). The Vercel dashboard aggregates data from all consultants. Each client has their own folder with CLAUDE.md, brand voice and session log.
Are updates included?
Solo plan: bugfixes and minor adjustments are included. Major releases (new MCPs, new command families) are 99 EUR per release. Agency plan: all updates are included in the monthly subscription.
What is the difference between Solo and Agency?
Solo = 1 machine, local dashboard, no centralization. Agency = N machines, n8n VPS with crons, multi-client Vercel dashboard, Supabase history, Slack alerts, team training, priority support. If you work alone, Solo is enough. If you have a team, Agency is necessary.
